In 1957 Litchfield Bulldozing and Demolition Ltd. was established in Vancouver by Don Litchfield. Over the past 55 years Don Litchfield has been at the head of this company and for the most part has been a family run and operated company. His daughter has been involved in the industry for several years, she and her husband are involved with the estimating as well as other aspects of the business.

Over the years D. Litchfield & Co Ltd has endeavored in the following major projects; Plaza of Nations, St Mary's Hospital, Hammond Cedar Mill, and Pacific Vocational Institute to mention just a few.

Over the 55 years of service to the construction industry we have developed the technology and become very successful in the recycling of buildings that are slated for demolition. We have the capacity to recycle a great percentage of any building achieving a 98% recycle rate in 2012 through one of our Leeds projects.

We are specialists in the field of deconstruction (i.e. dismantling buildings and recycling reusable building materials). From start to finish D. Litchfield can provide deconstruction of any project, including crushing and recycling.
